Top Topshop
Skirt Marks and Spencer
Rings Regal Rose

Can you believe this skirt is actually from Marks and Spencer? My Mum got it for me as a little pressie and I'm in love! I love the print and love how you can dress it down with a simple black tee.

Another pair of Kurt Geiger shoes. I actually have these in tan as well as I couldn't decide on which colour I preferred. I did have the intention of returning one of the pairs once I had decided but my Mum told me to just keep both... Okay Mum if you're going to encourage me to shop then I don't have a problem with that ;)

Dreaming

Kimono Primark
Bag Primark
Hat ASOS

Yes it's that Primark kimono again! I seriously love this bad boy despite the comments I constantly get about it looking like I'm "wearing a night gown". Plus I'm a real girl so I do outfit repeat (SHOCK HORROR).

Another all black outfit from me... At least the kimono adds some colour though. Hats are permanently attached to my head currently as my roots are in serious need of sorting out. I'm just far too lazy and poor to sort this little issue out so I will stick with my hats. I'm still on my hunt for silver/ lilac hair so once my roots are sorted I'm going to get seriously on to the toning to the perfect shade... my inner granny is forever trying to escape.

Have an amazing bank holiday weekend lovelies!

Mac All Fired Up

I honestly cannot believe I haven't properly reviewed this yet on the blog. It is my favourite lipstick and I wear it so often. Its from the retro matte collection from quite a while ago but it is permanent so you can get your hands on it all year round!

As it's matte I do definitely recommend prepping your lips first (I use a Lush lip scrub and pop a tiny bit of my Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm on first and let it sink in... If you use a more glossy formula balm then the lipstick wont sit right on your lips). I would say it lasts a good 4/5 hours before the colour begins to fade. It fades quite naturally on your lips and when this happens I just pop a little bit of whatever lip balm I have with me on my lips and it revives the colour so you don't have to reapply yet. I can drink A LOT of cups of tea and this beauty still looks in tact... The perfect lip product in my opinion...

I'm a sucker for a bold lip and this is the perfect bright pink shade that's easy enough to wear day or night. LOVE.

One Hundred

Jeans Topshop
Rings Regal Rose

First off I just want to say how grateful I am that I've reached 100 followers! This is so exciting as it't my first proper milestone so I'm mega chuffed! Big kisses all round.

Anyway back to the outfit....

CHECK OUT THESE BOOTS! Aren't they dreamy? I'm completely in love with them and can confirm they are super comfy even after 10 hours plus of wearing them... I'm a sucker for a tan boot!
I saw this Monki top on the ASOS website and was drawn to the unusual pattern. I'm normally a stripes kinda gal but I couldn't resist buying this (plus it was only £15 so it was ridiculously cheap).

For some reason the quality of my photos has dropped since uploading them to blogger and now a couple look blurry... Anyone know how to stop this happening?

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend

The Concert Tag

The mega babe Lauren from An Impatient Scottish Girl (honestly go check her out) tagged me to do 'The Concert Tag' which I was so excited about. Going to gigs is one of my favourite things to do and I have been lucky enough to see LOADS of incredible people live.
So here are the questions...

1.What was your first concert and how old were you?My first concert was to see Steps and I honestly cannot remember how old I was… It was in the 90s though! I went with my Sister and Dad and I think this might have been the first time I met my step sister… but that might have been at an S Club 7 concert instead.

2. What was your best concert?
My best concert was Arctic Monkeys in Finsbury Park this year. They have been one of my fave bands since I was about 14 so seeing them was the best night ever. Also ALEX TURNER is my biggest crush so seeing him in the flesh… WOW!
Kasabian at Glastonbury came pretty close though.. and Paolo Nutini.. and Elton John and Foals… Okay I’ll stop now.

3. Have you ever been a VIP and met the performer? If so, who?
No but I wish! If I had I’d clearly be married to Alex Turner by now.

4. Who would you love to see in concert?
BEYONCE! I need to see Queen B very very soon! I would have love to have seen the Beatles and Rolling Stones in their prime though!!

5. What is your go to outfit for a concert?
I usually wear skinny jeans, converse a top and leather jacket. Pretty standard and casual but super comfy for all the crazy dancing.

6. Last concert you went to?
Can Glastonbury count? I’m going to say yes it does. Kasabian and Paolo Nutini were definitely the highlights.

7. Future concerts?
I’m off to Bestival in September (Ahh Outkast and Chic) and going to see the Foo Fighters at the end of September. Seeing live music is a pretty big hobby of mine.

8. Which artist/group would you love to meet?
Alex Turner (I really must stop mentioning him now), Beyonce, The Beatles, Paolo Nutini... My list is endless

9. Would you go on stage and sing a duet with your favourite artist?
Hell yeah! What an amazing experience that would be!!

I'd love to hear about your favourite concerts?

Hippy days

Dress - River Island
Kimono - Missguided

I started my new job last Monday and I cannot explain how tiring commuting 5 hours a day is. At least I won't have to do that any longer as I have finished my training and ready to start at my actual place.

I'm actually obsessed with kimonos right now! I got this one a while ago in the Missguided sale and it has quickly become my go to item. I originally saw it in a gorgeous pale lilac but that went out of stock so I opted for this pink one instead and I have no regrets. As I have previously mentioned I am embracing colour so this is the perfect addition to my wardrobe (and looks great with an all black outfit). I like how floaty this kimono is and the tie dye makes it perfect for that hippy vibe I love!

The back of this dress is what drew me to it on the River Island website (and the £10 price tag may have helped a little too). I think its so unique and different making it stand out from the other black dresses I have. I might have to be a little bit careful if I'm out in the sun in this one though... Imagine the tan lines!

Hope you ladies are okay.
