I always imagine if I was still in England it might not be as difficult but living on a tiny island means our options are limited. Things to do in Grand Cayman - Visit Little Cayman

Whether you live in Grand Cayman or you are just visiting I would 100% recommend visiting the Sister Islands; Little Cayman & Cayman Brac. I am going to dedicate this post to talk about Little Cayman. The population is around 190-200 people, it is approximately 10 miles long and an average width of just over a mile so when you wonder why it's called Little Cayman I think that explains it perfectly. To get to Little Cayman you fly in a tiny little propeller plane that holds 16 people. It is the coolest thing to sit at the front and watch the pilot.

Seeing as I have lived here for 4 years now (seriously I cannot believe it has been that long now) I have a great inside knowledge of all the do's and don't's here. Easy ways to ditch plastic - Plastic Free

Recently I've been trying really hard to eliminate unnecessary plastic from my life. Honestly I know this is super hard and of course it depends on where you live. I live on a tiny little Island so I do not have the biggest selection of places to shop. Luckily a lot of the fruit and veg does come unwrapped but not all of it does and that is very disappointing.  

2019 - The year to save the planet

I've been in a massive rut with blogging recently. Thinking of ideas to write about is not something that comes naturally to me... I am not a writer unfortunately but I do love creating content. I've decided to use this website to not only talk about fashion and beauty but also things that are important to me. Living where I live and having a job that involves being in the ocean around animals every day has really made me think about the planet and how our actions can really make an impact.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and New Year!

Living abroad away from family over the Holidays can be a little bit difficult but when you surround yourself with your closest friends like I was lucky enough to do it makes everything better. I am extremly lucky to have found such incredible friends over here that I do think of them as family. My Cayman family! 

A classic red lip

Honestly who doesn't love a red lip? There is something so special about how something so simple can just completely transform your whole look. I've been thinking long and hard and have managed to decide my top 5 favourites. 

Band Tees and Dungarees

Living in a hot country was definitely a little hard to get used to when it came to fashion as I'm more or a layers kind of girl. Don't get me wrong I hate the cold weather but I love dressing for it. But since moving here a denim and tee combo is honestly my go to look and now I am all about that laid back casual vibe.

Underwater photography

 I will never deny I have one of the best jobs in the world. I'm an underwater photographer in Grand Cayman for a company called Caribbean Producer Services. The water here is the crystal clear and ridiculously warm all year round and I get to hang out with Stingrays, Turtles and Sharks all the time. I bloody love my job and being in the ocean is my favourite place to be.

Well this feels very strange writing on here again... Welcome to my new website. Some of you may know I used to write a blog called Style By Ali. Once I moved to the Cayman Islands blogging unfortunately became a distant memory for me and although I missed this little community my busy work load and making amazing new memories just took over and sadly this little blog took a back seat.

On Saturday I was lucky enough to attend the Big Blogger Conference. It was arranged by the lovely girls from @LDNmeetup (who you deffo need to go and follow) and I can honestly say it was the best event I've ever been to!

Just a casual outfit today from me. Yet again I'm wearing my fave Primark MOM jeans. I'm also not sure how I feel about this knitted tank from H&M so let me know what you think... Should I keep it or return it? As you can tell I'm really loving these earthy colours right now. Khaki seems to be taking over black in my wardrobe (HA who am I kidding... Black soul 4EVER)

I've already shown the black version of these shoes on here before and as they are THE COMFIEST SHOES EVER I had to get the tan ones as well. They are last season from Kurt Geiger so are no longer on the website but the black ones are on Shoeaholics for £19!!
